Name of the Project – “Exploring marine actinobacteria for anti-infective and industrial products”
Duration – Three years
How to Apply –
Project Associate and Project Assistant positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. However, the Project Associate and Project Assistant will be encouraged to enrol for a PhD at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology under the mentorship of the Principal Investigator.

For Post I
Essential qualification – Master’s degree in Life Sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (Biotechnology) from a recognized University or Equivalent.
Desirable – Experience in Actinobacterial research, Molecular techniques with relevant publications.
Emoluments – Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA/month for 1st & 2nd year; 35,000 +24% HRA/
month for 3rd Year.
For Post II
Essential qualification – B.Sc., in Microbiology /Biotechnology
Desirable – M.Sc., in Microbiology /Biotechnology with Experience in Actinobacterial research, handling and maintenance of microbial cultures.
Emoluments – Rs. 20,000 /- fixed per month+ 24% HRA/month
