• Fellowship: € 2300 per month/fellow.
• The fellowship will be provided on pro-rata basis depending on the duration of the stay.
• Single round trip economy class airfare including visa fees and medical/travel insurance approximately ₹ 1 lakh (for Indian fellow) and € 1500 (for German fellow).

How to Apply?

Applications must be sent jointly via email to pecfar@igstc.org as a single document. The application format can be downloaded here.

Applicants can also build his/her pair through networking and 1:1 matching using B2 Match.

Instructions for Submission of the Application

• Check your eligibility before applying for the fellowship.
• It is advisable to form the pair before starting the application.
• The pair should fill the application form jointly and sent via email to pecfar@igstc.org as a single document.
• Applicant must strictly follow the instructions given in the application form.

Selection Procedure/Evaluation

A joint selection committee of experts shall review the applications based on credentials of the pairs, feasibility, scope and quality of the joint proposal plan for the fellowship duration and expected outcomes (including future plans emerging out of the visit, value addition to the parent organization of the fellows). The decision of the committee shall be considered as final and binding.

Conditions & Requirements

• The applications should be submitted via email to pecfar@igstc.org as a single document. Submissions by other means will not be accepted.
• The duration of the fellowship will be up to 2 months per fellow. It is mandatory for each fellow to have a minimum stay of 3 weeks.
• Indian applicants with institutional affiliation shall submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Head of the Institution at the time of the application. German applicants shall submit a brief support letter from their supervisors stating that there are no objection against participation in the programme.
• Applicants must define a detailed activity plan mentioning their objectives, planned activities, expected outcomes for the duration of the fellowship and potential future joint scientific work which could result from the fellowship.
• IGSTC grant is only for covering monthly fellowship, round trip-fare, visa, travel/medical insurance.
• Extension in the duration of the fellowship shall not be entertained.
• The fellows will abide by the conduct, rules and regulations of the visiting organization and the country. IGSTC will not be responsible for violation of any rules & regulations by him/her.
• Within 4 weeks from the completion of the fellowship, the fellows must submit a detailed fellowship completion report, Statement of Expenditure (SE)/Utilization Certificate (UC) along with representative photos to IGSTC.
• The fellows must recognize and acknowledge IGSTC fellowship in all online/print documents, communications, reports, publications, etc. on work directly resulting from the fellowship.
