CSIR – IICT is conducting Online Interviews for the following positions under various sponsored projects purely on a temporary basis.
BIOLOGY, BIOCHEMICAL & BIOTECHNOLOGY (BBB)
Name of the Post – Project Associate-I
Code – BBB-01
No. of Posts – 02
Name of the Project – Isolation & characterization of epothilone production strain & identification of yield improvement factors (FBR)
Stipend – 31,000+HRA (this fellowship the amount is for those who have valid CSIR/UGC-NET fellowship including for lectureship/GATE & for others 25,000+HRA)
Essential Qualifications – MSc Biotechnology
Desirable Qualifications – 6-12 months experience in isolation & characterization of fermentation products

Note 1 – The above age limits are relaxable for candidates of statutory groups (SC/ST/OBC) and PWD candidates as per Govt. of India/ CSIR instructions on the
subject.
After receipt of applications, the screening will be done, the eligible candidates will be shortlisted and they will be informed of the date of interview through their respective mail addresses to attend an online interview for selection. The engagement will be purely on a temporary basis initially for a period of six months which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the fellow as the case may be and does not entitle him/her for the permanent position in CSIR/IICT.
